Hill Air Force Base (AFB) is a U.S. Air Force (USAF) installation located near Ogden, Utah. It is part of the Ogden Air Logistics Complex and is the largest employer in the state of Utah. The base is home to the Air Force Materiel Command's Ogden Air Logistics Center, Air Force Reserve Command's 419th Fighter Wing, and the 75th Air Base Wing.

The base was named in honor of Major Ployer Peter Hill, a World War I flying ace who was killed in a crash on October 11, 1918. Major Hill, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery, was one of the first aviators to be awarded the highest military honor of the United States.

Hill AFB's airport code is HIF. The code was assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The code is derived from the first three letters of the base's name (Hill Air Force Base), followed by the first initial of the state of Utah (F for "Foxtrot").

The base is served by a single runway and handles around 30,000 takeoffs and landings each year. The majority of these flights are military aircraft, but the base also serves commercial air traffic, with flights operated by Delta, United, American, and Allegiant Air.

Hill AFB is a major hub for air cargo operations and is home to the largest military air cargo operation in the world. The base has over 900 full-time personnel and 1,500 part-time personnel, and handles an average of 300,000 tons of cargo each year.

The base also houses a number of specialized units, including the 5th Reconnaissance Squadron, the 15th Special Operations Squadron, the 419th Fighter Wing, and the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron. The base also provides support to the Utah Air National Guard, the Air Force Reserve Command, and the Air Force Special Operations Command.
