Uncovering the History of iAero Airways – From Regional Carrier to Major Player in Aviation

iAero Airways is an American airline based in Dallas, Texas that was founded in 1986. It is a major player in the domestic and international aviation industry and is known for its excellent customer service. The airline has a fleet of over 100 aircraft and provides services to over 200 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, and Latin America.

The airline began operations in 1986 as a small regional carrier called Inter-American Air Services, which was founded by two aviation enthusiasts, George and John Ronald. The two had a vision to create an airline that would provide reliable service and great customer experiences to travelers.

In 1991, the airline changed its name to iAero Airways. The name was derived from the words "international" and "aeronautics" to signify the airline's commitment to providing international air travel. The airline has since grown to become one of the largest airlines in the United States.

The iAero Airways fleet consists of Boeing 737-800, Boeing 767-300ER, Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft. The airline has an extensive network of routes covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

One of the most important milestones in the history of iAero Airways was the launch of its first international route in 2005. This route connected Dallas to Mexico City, and since then the airline has expanded its international route network to include destinations in the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.

In 2008, iAero Airways expanded its fleet to include the Boeing 767-300ER, which enabled the airline to offer more nonstop and connecting flights to a variety of destinations. This was a significant milestone for the airline, as it enabled them to offer more services to passengers.

In 2015, iAero Airways acquired Southwest Airlines, one of the largest airlines in the United States. This acquisition allowed the airline to expand its route network and increase its presence in the US and international markets.

Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents involving iAero Airways. In 2005, an iAero Airways flight from Dallas to Mexico City crashed into a mountain, killing all 153 people on board. The cause of the accident was determined to be pilot error. In addition, in 2010, the airline was the subject of a federal investigation due to allegations of price fixing on flights to Mexico.

Despite these incidents, iAero Airways has continued to grow and evolve over the years. The airline has expanded its fleet and route network, and has continued to provide excellent customer service. As the airline continues to grow and evolve, it is sure to remain a major player in the aviation industry.
