Tassili Airlines is a state-owned Algerian airline that was established in 2002. It is the country’s second-largest airline, behind Air Algerie. Unfortunately, the airline has also been involved in a number of incidents over the years. In 2008, a Tassili Airlines flight from Algiers to Oran crashed, killing all 103 people on board. In 2010, the airline was the subject of a federal investigation in the United States for illegally transporting cargo across international borders. In 2014, the airline was banned from operating in the European Union due to safety concerns.
In recent years, Tassili Airlines has been focusing on modernizing its fleet and improving its services. The airline has added new planes, upgraded its in-flight services, and launched a loyalty program.
