Miami Air International is a charter airline based in Miami, Florida that has been providing commercial air services since 1989. Miami Air International is owned and operated by World Atlantic Airlines, LLC, which is a subsidiary of Aviation Management Corporation.

The airline began operations in 1989 when it was founded by a group of local pilots and business people. Initially, the airline only operated small aircrafts such as the Cessna CitationJet, King Air 200, and Learjet 25.

In 1992, the airline began to expand its fleet by adding larger aircrafts such as the Boeing 737-200 and the Boeing 757-200. The addition of these aircrafts allowed the airline to offer more services, such as cargo and passenger flights.

Throughout the 1990s, Miami Air International continued to expand its fleet and services. The airline added new aircrafts such as the Boeing 737-300, Airbus A320, and the Boeing 767-200. This allowed the airline to offer more routes, such as international flights to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.





In 2000, the airline acquired its first Boeing 747-400 aircraft, which enabled the airline to further expand its services and routes. The airline began to offer flights to Europe, Asia, and Africa.

In 2004, the airline celebrated its 15th anniversary. The airline also began to offer more specialized services such as air ambulance and cargo charters.

In 2006, the airline added more aircrafts to its fleet such as the Boeing 757-300 and the Boeing 767-300ER. This allowed the airline to offer more long-distance flights such as those to Europe and Asia.

In 2008, the airline celebrated its 20th anniversary. At this time, the airline had a fleet of 28 aircrafts and was offering flights to over 30 destinations worldwide.





In 2011, the airline acquired its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This allowed the airline to offer more services, such as charter flights, cargo flights, and air ambulance services.

In 2012, the airline celebrated its 25th anniversary. At this time, the airline had a fleet of 35 aircrafts and was offering flights to over 50 destinations worldwide.

In 2015, the airline acquired its first Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which allowed the airline to offer more long-distance flights such as those to Asia and Africa.

In 2018, the airline celebrated its 30th anniversary. At this time, the airline had a fleet of 40 aircrafts and was offering flights to over 70 destinations worldwide.





Throughout its history, Miami Air International has experienced a few minor incidents. In 2009, one of its Boeing 737-800 aircrafts was damaged during a maintenance check. The airline was also the subject of a federal investigation in 2012 following allegations of improper maintenance records.

Despite these incidents, Miami Air International continues to provide safe and reliable air services to its passengers. The airline has consistently evolved over the past 30 years, adding more aircrafts and services to its operations. Miami Air International is now one of the leading charter airlines in the United States.
