Viva Air is an airline founded in Peru in 2012 and is a subsidiary of the Irish-based company, Viva International. It is one of the largest airlines in South America and operates to many destinations in Peru, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, and the United States. In 2014, Viva Air made its first international flight, a flight from Lima to Bogota, Colombia. This was an important milestone for the airline, as it signaled its entry into the international market.
