Avianca Express is a low-cost airline based in Colombia. It is a subsidiary of Avianca, the second-largest airline in Latin America. Avianca Express was founded in 2004 and began operations in 2006. It is headquartered in Bogotá, Colombia, and operates flights to many destinations in the Americas and the Caribbean.

Avianca Express’s first flight was on April 30, 2006, from Bogotá to Medellín. Since then, the airline has grown its fleet and route network significantly.
