Cham Wings was founded by Bashar El-Kadri, a Syrian entrepreneur who wanted to create a modern, efficient and affordable airline for the Syrian market. He formed a partnership with a number of local and international investors and the airline was launched in 2006 with a fleet of just four aircraft. Since then, the airline has grown steadily, expanding its fleet and operations.

The airline’s initial fleet consisted of two Airbus A320-200 aircraft and two Boeing 737-500 aircraft. Over the next few years, the airline added more aircraft to its fleet, including Airbus A319, Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-800. The airline now operates a fleet of 20 aircraft, including Airbus A320-200, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-800.

Cham Wings has had a number of important milestones in its history. In 2008, the airline launched its first international flight from Damascus to Beirut. This marked an important step in the airline’s development, and launched its international operations. The airline has since expanded its international operations, and now operates flights to more than 20 destinations in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

In 2011, the airline signed a contract with Boeing to purchase two new aircraft in order to expand its fleet. This was a major milestone for the airline, as it allowed the airline to expand its operations and reach more destinations.

In 2014, the airline launched its first domestic flights in Syria. This was an important milestone for the airline, as it allowed it to reach more customers in Syria. The airline now operates several domestic routes within Syria, including flights to Aleppo, Latakia and Damascus.

In 2016, the airline launched a new frequent flyer program, called “Cham Wings Rewards”. This was an important milestone for the airline, as it allowed it to reward its loyal customers for their loyalty.

Unfortunately, the airline has been involved in a number of incidents throughout its history. In 2012, one of its Boeing 737-300 aircraft crashed in the Syrian Desert, killing all on board. The cause of the crash was determined to be a technical malfunction. The airline was also investigated in 2017 for its involvement in the alleged smuggling of weapons and ammunition to the Islamic State. The airline was cleared of any wrongdoing, but the incident had a negative impact on the airline’s reputation.

Despite these setbacks, Cham Wings Airlines has continued to grow and evolve over the years, and is now one of the largest airlines in the region. The airline has a modern fleet of aircraft, and offers competitive fares on its international and domestic routes. The airline is committed to providing a safe and reliable service to its customers, and is constantly striving to improve its operations.
