Reading Regional Airport/Carl A Spaatz Field is the primary airport serving the Reading, Pennsylvania area. Located just north of Reading in Bern Township, the airport was founded in 1928 by the Reading Municipal Airport Authority. It was originally known as the Reading Municipal Airport.

In 1946, the airport was renamed in honor of Carl A. Spaatz, a Reading native and World War II General. Spaatz was the recipient of the Medal of Honor and the first U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff.
